The Colors of the paintings could be slightly off. Due to the various manufacturer settings on monitors.

About Me

My photo
G. Wajs
A little about me...I'm 35 years of age, At 16 I found out I had Cancer (nasal pharyngeal carcinoma). I was successfully treated at the University of Chicago hospitals. A few years later at age 24 I suffered a Brain Stem Hemorrhagic Stroke. Which ultimately left my right side(both leg and arm), the left side of my face and my voice paralyzed as well as nystagmus ( involuntary rhythmic shaking of the eyes). The nystagmus is the real culprit affecting my art more so then use of my left arm.

I was convinced by my family to give painting a shot, I didn't have much hope in seeing the end result. As I was right handed my entire life and could do nothing with my left hand.(to this day, I still can't write in a straight, even, uniform line) not to mention the hand tremors also left by the stroke..Well it turned out I did get use to painting with the opposite hand. It also turned out that I really enjoyed myself and have ultimately become passionate about painting.

So thats a quick explanation in how I got started in art. I hope you will stick around and check out my work. Sign up for email alerts or Like my Facebook Fan Page Enjoy
