The reference pic I had used was one I made at an authentic rodeo last year
I think I'm going to paint this scene in a few different techniques that come to mind and eventually painting a large piece.

As you can tell by the picture above I  have trouble with small details because of my disabilities, but then again I paint in an impressionistic style ..so thats my excuse.

I use to practice writing since I had to learn all over again by way of the left hand but because of my vision problems I was all over the place and could never write in a straight even line. But since I started painting my handwriting has gotten better, I still see the same but my hand seems to flow more smoothly and it's easier placing my letters in the correct spot. I'm not saying suddenly I'm writing in straight even lines but instead of taking up 3-4 lines for a few words. I'm now taking up 1-2 lines for a sentance.
This may not seem like a big deal to most of you or all but beleive me it means a great deal to me as it's not only the handwriting that has improved but overall my hand and eye coordination has improved significantly.
All thanks to the ability to be able to paint  and I'm greatful for that ability to sit in front of a canvas and apply strokes of paint, It's the little things you learn to apreciate when that ability is almost taken away. My Aunt posted a quote on facebook a few days ago "Health brings a freedom very few realize, until they no longer have it"...Keep that in mind because How True it is. Some say painting is also one of the best forms of Therapy.

Still of Pears (enhanced)

After viewing the Still of Pears painting at my exhibition, it kept bothering me. It looked very chalky and was overall a cold painting. Shortly after I was aproached by someone,(not mentioning any names) who said the blue thingy was interpreted to her as a giant blueberry...Yeah...I'm still scratching my head on that one! So I decide to enhance the painting by warming it up a bit, getting rid of the chalkiness, and what was meant to be interpreted as a blue bowl more of a bowl look.

Don't really know if I improved the painting or not but this is the new verrsion.
