Still of Pears (enhanced)

After viewing the Still of Pears painting at my exhibition, it kept bothering me. It looked very chalky and was overall a cold painting. Shortly after I was aproached by someone,(not mentioning any names) who said the blue thingy was interpreted to her as a giant blueberry...Yeah...I'm still scratching my head on that one! So I decide to enhance the painting by warming it up a bit, getting rid of the chalkiness, and what was meant to be interpreted as a blue bowl more of a bowl look.

Don't really know if I improved the painting or not but this is the new verrsion.

I'd like to Thank everyone for coming out to my first exhibition Saturday night ...It meant allot. It also means a lot to me that you folks value my art enough to hang on your walls at home...Thank You...and I apologize to those that did not get an invitation, a mishap on my part but will make sure to get it out to all of you next time..probably Spring or early Summer. This time I hope to have larger paintings but will continue offering small works on this blog.
So thanks again to all of you and those that feel left out...my deepest apologies and will make sure it gets out to you next time.
